Pam Featherstone is a Yoga teacher and Reiki Master. As well as being fully qualified in the art of Reiki, having practiced for more than 10 years, she is also a qualified Stress Consultant, Corporate Stress Consultant, Counsellor and Magnetic Therapist.
She is also a professional Naturopath (Herbalism & Natural Homeopathy), offering General Health Advice and Natural Healing Methods that are so needed and sought after in these days.
Pam set up the Haven in 2007 and whilst she has a mainly administrative role, she still practises and teaches, offering her valuable services.

Teaching Pilates is a fairly recent direction in my life, although joy through movement has been a part of my life since I was young and I spent my childhood in full-time training to be a ballet dancer.
After a short career as a dancer ‘normal’ life, children, partner, and my other love – graphic design – took priority.
Getting older and creakier and losing my body awareness spurred me into action and I found Pilates again (always the solution for professional dancers rehabilitating from injury), It didn’t take long for me to rediscover and re-connect with the ‘physical me’ and the satisfaction I got from that inspired me to take a teaching qualification.
I love to see and hear about the benefits Pilates brings to people, the improvements in their physical and mental wellbeing, and I enjoy being a part of that journey.

NLP & EFT Practitioner and Reiki Master
George is a trained NLP and EFT practitioner and Reiki master and joined The Haven in 2016 to offer his valuable techniques with others.
NLP or Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a method of influencing brain behavior through the use of language and other types of communication to “recode” the mind and manifest new and better outcomes.
EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique is a form of “psychological acupressure”, a therapeutical tool using tapping with fingertips and NLP techniques in order to release blockages, trauma, illness and to achieve better emotional health.

Unlike many physical practises Yoga is a way of life. Classes include lessons in relaxation, aiming to calm the mind and teaching our pupils to become aware of their inner strength and feelings.
